We are pleased to announce that our subsidiary, PT Adaro Indonesia, received Gold PROPER Award from the Ministry of Environment, Republic of Indonesia for the year 2011—2012. PROPER is one of Ministry of Environment’s flagship programs to encourage compliance towards environmental regulations and to achieve environmental excellence.
The award was presented by Vice President Budiono on December 3, 2012 at the Grand Ballroom of Shangri-la Hotel to President Director & CEO of Adaro Energy, Garibaldi Thohir.
Prior to receiving the Gold PROPER Award, Adaro Indonesia was a four times receiver of the Green PROPER Award. Adaro Indonesia is the first mining company to ever receive Gold PROPER awards since the award program commissioned in 2002.
